Outfit of the Day: First Day of School

Black tank top from walmart, blue top and cardigan from bluenotes, and jeans from TJ Maxx.

Keeping it simple for the first day of school! Im loving these ripped jeans, they are so comfy, the material is thinner than most jean material, and I like that for Fall! You can't see in this picture, and I apoligize, but these jeans have an army print material built in underneath the ripped parts! Hopefully this gave you inspiration for the new school year, I have picture day this week, so look out for that! Good luck in your fashion experimenting!

Outfit of the Day: A touch of Spring

Shorts and sweater from Walmart, floral top from TJ Maxx and belt from Ardene.

So even though it's almost fall, we could all use a touch of spring right?! Floral patterns are great for all seasons, even winter, something needs to stand out from all that white snow. I think this outfit is great for the end of the summer when it starts to get a little chilly. The sweater protects you from those gusts of wind, but you've still got some nice summer colors! Lately I've been wearing lots of shorts, mostly because I go back to school tomorrow and I want to take advantage of the last days of summer, but shorts are really great to wear with anything and these ripped jean ones are my favorite! Look forward to a first day of school look tomorrow!

Product Review: Argan Oil

So let me just start off with saying, I love this oil! Ever since I started coloring my hair I knew I was going to have to take care of it alot better. I was really lucky before coloring my hair and had super healthy, shiny hair without having to do anything to it; so I knew I wanted something easy! I heard about Argan Oil just through various hair dressers, and I knew I wanted to try it! I purchased this one at Sally Beauty Supply for $10! This oil is similar to Moroccan Oil, but way less expensive, it also smells really good! The oil helps eliminate frizz, keep hair shiny and soft, and also reduces drying time! Everything about this oil is wonderful, I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Outfit of the Day: Casual Preppy

Shirt from Winners and shorts from Costa Blaca.

This is the first of many outfits of the day to come! I love the idea of showing your creativity off to the blog world! Today I'm not very creative, just a t-shirt and shorts. As summer comes to a close soon I'm thinking about school and the preppy style that comes along with it, so that was my inspiration with the tucked in shirt, but I kept everything simple and casual with no jewlery.

~LACE~

Do you want to feel like you're in a romance novel all the time? Lace is so simple and elegant it can do just that! Perfect for first dates or everyday wear. Lace is my favorite fabric, and a staple in my wardrobe! Try lace in different colors such as white, beige or even black! Don't hesitate on lace, once you try it you will notice the romantic feel it gives you! It has a vintage look, so feel free to modernize it with a leather jacket and a pair of jeans! Have fun and good luck!

What's In My School Bag?

School isn't only a place to learn, it's somewhere to express your creativity! I love fun designs and colored pens for school! here is what I keep in my school bag for this semester and a few tips to stay organized!

Get a pencil case! Don't just throw pens and pencils into your purse. Pencil case are really helpful and can be super cute, like this one I got from Wal-Mart for only $4!

Try labels & color coated subjects! All my math is pink, and all my chemistry is blue! It's fun and makes it easy to determine different subjects!

Don't forget a folder! Great for homework and test keeping! They come in really great designs and patterns!

And for my school bag? I don't use one. I carry my binders by hand and put my pencil case and books in my purse! I hope you enjoyed this look into the education of an Everyday Fashionista! Much love, and stay in school!
XOXO

Get Studded!

Studs are an easy way to edge up any outfit! When looking for studded fashion items, look for accessories. Purses or shoes work best  because they can be used with any look to complete it! Studs aren't just for bikers anymore, they've become quite glamorous in last couple years and can be seen on almost anything. No longer a bold fashion statement, studs are an everyday thing seen with almost any style. Try adding studded items to your wardrobe and you won't be disappointed!
